Hi faithful answerers. I’m hoping you will have some knowledge about the Walmart floral section. Here’s the deal. I’m having a destination wedding in Destin, Florida. I’m really trying to cut costs where ever possible so I’ve decided to make my own floral arrangements. Because it’s a beach wedding, most bouquet arrangements will do: I plan on gutting a few pineapples to use as my vases and then arranging various generic flowers. My only concern, of course, is that Walmart won’t have enough of the same flowers to meet my needs. Do any of you have any experience with calling ahead (months, of course) to make sure that they order extra of whatever flowers are in season? What advice do you have? And I dont’ care how tacky that is. I don’t really care to spend hundreds in flowers.
